Biography

Professor Yanhui Xu is the Executive Dean of Research at the Shanghai Sycamore Research Institute of Life Sciences and a Professor at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. 

Dedicated to resolving biomacromolecular mechanisms at the atomic level, his team has made milestone contributions to the assembly of the human transcription pre-initiation complex (PIC), successfully reconstituting the complete transcription machinery containing over 100 proteins in vitro. Additionally, the team is pioneering single-cell multi-omics methods using DNA-encoded antibodies to explore cell signaling and pathology, thereby promoting the understanding of complex life systems and their clinical translation.
